Real screens, real ink
No heat-press transfers dressed up as screen printing. Every color gets its own screen, burned and registered in our Tempe shop.
Custom screen printing · Tempe, Arizona · Since 1991
An old-school print shop for businesses, teams and brands who would rather do it once and do it right. Real screens, real ink, and one printer who checks every shirt before it leaves the shop.
01 The way we work
No heat-press transfers dressed up as screen printing. Every color gets its own screen, burned and registered in our Tempe shop.
Your order isn't stacked behind a hundred others. It gets the owner's full attention from first proof to final fold.
Every piece is pulled off the dryer, inspected and counted by hand. If a print isn't right, it doesn't go in the box.
02 The man behind the press
He learned screen printing the long way: mixing ink by eye, burning screens in the dark, and redoing a whole run when one color landed a hair off. Decades later, the tools are better but the standard hasn't moved.
He never chased the fastest turnaround in town, because fast is how shirts end up cracked, crooked and in the donation bin. He would rather tell you it takes a week and hand you something you'll still be wearing in ten years.

03 Rooted in Tempe
Before the high-rises on the lake, there was this shop. Same corner of the Valley, same press, same standard. When you order from us you're hiring a neighbor.
04 How it's made
Pull each screen and watch the design build the way it does on our press. Then see what happens when a shop rushes the registration.
Blank shirt on the platen. Pull the first screen.
Rushed shops skip careful registration. Colors drift off their marks and leave gaps and halos. We line every screen up to the micro-adjust, then test-print before the run.
05 From sketch to box
01We clean up your artwork and split it into one film per color. You approve a proof first.
02Each film is exposed onto a coated mesh screen. Fine detail needs the right mesh, so we pick it per job.
03Colors are mixed to your Pantone by weight, not guessed. Your red is the same red on every reorder.
04Every screen is lined up to the marks and test-printed until the colors sit exactly where they belong.
05Ink is pushed through the mesh into the fabric, one shirt and one color at a time.
06Shirts go through the dryer at full temperature so the ink bonds for good. Then every one is checked by hand.
06 Pick your shirt
Browse our full apparel catalog: tees, long sleeves, hoodies, polos, hats, workwear and more from the brands people actually like wearing. Find a style and color, jot down the style number, and we'll print it.
Filter by type, brand, fit and color.
It's on every product page, like PC61 or 18500.
Add it to your request and we'll handle the rest.
07 Why it lasts
Drag the slider. Cheap heat transfers sit on top of the fabric and start to crack within a season. Screen printed ink is cured into the fibers.
08 Who we print for
From a dozen staff shirts to a full run of event merch, the job gets the same care.

09 Start a job
Tell us what you're making and when you need it. You'll hear back from the owner within one business day, with an honest price and an honest date.
10 Questions
Still wondering about something? Call (480) 350-9000. The owner usually picks up.
Twelve pieces per design. Screen printing means burning a real screen for every color, so it makes the most sense from a dozen shirts up. The more you print, the lower the price per piece.
Most jobs are ready in 7 to 10 business days after you approve the proof. We don't rush ink or skip the cure to hit a date, so if you have a deadline, call early and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it.
Sometimes, when the schedule allows and it won't cost the quality of the job. Call the shop and ask. If we can't do it right in time, we'll tell you.
Yes. Send what you have, even a napkin sketch or a low-res logo. We redraw and separate artwork in-house so it prints clean, and you approve a proof before anything goes on press.
Screen printed ink is pushed into the fibers of the garment and cured with heat, so it moves with the shirt and lasts as long as the shirt does. Transfers sit on top and tend to crack, peel and fade in the wash.
Usually, yes. Bring them by the shop first so we can check the blanks. Or browse our online catalog of shirts, hoodies, hats and more, pick a style and color, and we'll order it in for your job.
